Stern Army
What is the Stern Army?
Members of the Stern Army are the official brand ambassadors that make up the Stern Pinball street team. Stern Army Members help make pinball locations flourish by creating and hosting monthly pinball events at a designated location and using these events to grow the local pinball community.
Who Can Join?
STERN ARMY LOCATIONS MUST BE A PUBLIC LOCATION
Pinball Operators
Pinball Operators own equipment and place games in everyone's favorite establishment, whether that be Breweries, Family Entertainment Centers, Bars, Restaurants, Arcades, etc. Since the success of the pinball machines in each location is very important to them, operators make great Stern Army representatives.
Stern Army Location Employees
Within each public location you see pinball, you'll find an owner, manager, bartender, or technician that can also be the Stern Army ambassador for their own Stern Army Location. Similar to a Pinball Operator, the success of the machines is very important to them.
Players and Enthusiasts
The pinball players who go to these locations to play regularly, can also be designated to be the official Stern Army representative. Because the players are typically already engaged with other players in the area, it can make sense to have them run events.
What Are the Benefits?
Official Launch Parties
Stern Army Locations receive priority shipments on each Stern Pinball release. The first production for each new title goes to Stern Army Locations. This gives Stern Army locations somewhat of an exclusivity in their region.
Increased Foot Traffic
Leagues and tournament play allow locations to have a steady flow of foot traffic throughout the week. The pinball machines see an increase in revenue, and locations see an increase in food and beverage sales from the players.
Prize Support
Stern Pinball will send Stern Army representative prizes to give away to winners at their monthly leagues or tournaments including a starter kit after joining, a refresh kit, and an official launch party kit.
